This cost me only €3 in a charity shop on one of my most recent visits. What drew my eye to it first was its bright and unusual floral pattern that seems still really modern even though it's made back in the 80s. The pattern is similar to the kind I've seen on modern notebooks, journals etc. Its made by Hornsea Pottery in England and when I took it home I discovered its not the only Hornsea piece I have which was a really nice discovery!
So far, what its made from is really thick, good quality material- the only downsides being it isn't microwave/dishwasher safe and the bottom of it is quiet stained- I use it for tea and coffee so that won't help with the staining! Another downside of it is- really strange scratches keep appearing on its surface and sometimes there's a strange taste to whatever liquid I drink from it- a weird chemical taste, not sure why?
