I see no one has guessed so I thought I would. If the end has a magnet some how inside I would think canning lid wand. I wouldn't think wood would(I would have said that different but didn't know how) hold up in boiling water but it sure looks like ours that is plastic. You might check to see if it magnetic. Good luck

Good guess! So I just tried putting magnet on the end of this stick. Unfortunately, it's just solid wood:( I really wonder what it is for.
Anyway thanks for sharing your thoughts!:)
Hope you have a great weekend!!!

Thanks. You too. My second guess would be a honey Dipper....

Hmm..that's also good one. But in my opinion, the shaft sould be wood rather than steal if it's honey deeper. You have any third guess as well?:) sry fot late reply btw.

How long is it (overall, and/or just the metal shaft) and do either of the wood pieces detatch (unscrew?) from the shaft somehow?

it might be a handle/control for a disabled person to drive using it on the pedals??

Hi AntthingObscure! Is 12" total and the steal shaft is about 6" inch. And none of parts are able to screw at all:/ thanks for your thoughts:)

Hi, Goldenwing! Thanks for sharing your thought! But since it's only 12 inch I wonder if it's long enough to use for the pedals when driving... Thanks a lot anyway!
