Vintage vermeil / bohenian garnet cross pendant, part of my bohemian garnets jewelry collection. Flea market find, I have it for several years now.
Czech hallmarks -
- marked 900 G8 + hare head with number 3
- G means "Granát Turnov", the famous czech garnet jewelry maker . From what I have seen they mark (or used to mark) their jewelry with G + number (probably plant / workroom number). "Granát" means "garnet" in czech language.
- Hare head is Czech mark for purity = 900/1000.
