I'm not too proud, I recently looked into a Dumpster where the remains of an Estate Sale were going to be placed. I found this in trash in a zip lock baggie. The pages are so fragile I am afraid to breathe when I'm reading it. Check this out at a later date. I will post the hand written notes a student wrote about the love of his life.
Hello I'm back, the hand written note spelling and everything goes like this;
"Once I had a hart and it was true it fled from me and went to you treat it as I have love for you." this is exactly how he wrote it, spelling and everything. The he wrote starting at left bottom of the page writing vertically as so: "Nora You Be the Girl what I adore I guess by Josh I like you more."
There's more to come from the Dumpster adventure. Stay tuned for even better than this. You just won't believe! But I'm a believe because another man's trash is for sure my treasure.
LMAO! A few months back in early spring i was driving down the road and saw a bunch of furniture and household items on the side of the road and poking out of one of the bags was a 1947 Tonka Fire truck! I immediately slammed on the brakes and jumped out and I ran , grabbed the whole bag, threw it in the truck and took off....I ended up going back and loading every bag and sifting thru them and you know what? I found the motherlode of vintage toys. I will be posting more pics this week I just joined uo tonight.
OMG there are people out there just as crazy as me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just last week my niece was out collecting cans, when she ran across some bags & boxes piled up next to a trash can, at an RV park. She noticed some cute material protruding from one of the bags, being in a hurry she loaded up some of the things and took them home to look at later. There were some very old sewing patterns from 1920 - 30's, an old toy car, some old plastic see-thru seat covers to a 1950's T-Bird and an envelope containing $320.00 cash! All the bills were dated from 1950's. She went back to get what she couldn't carry first time and found a few other odds & ends....But, no more money!
But, still you never know what you might find!.....I like your find as well!
Happy Hunting!
Oh thank you so ever kindly for sharing this story with me.
