Well as requested I have taken some more photographs of this opaque vase which show the base, rim and the little notches near the base. Quick recap, small (13.5cm tall) light green hand painted glass. Initially thought to be pottery as it was so dirty you could not see through it but after lots of cleaning it turned out to be opaque, and very lovely indeed. The base is unmarked and the pontil is polished. There are small notches around the base just above the bottom which you can hopefully see in the picture, and the rim was gilded but some of this has come away in time. The new photographs may help with some idea of what this is as I know nothing. In my original post a few days ago billretirecoll suggested antique bohemien hand painted custard glass or possibility English Bristol glass, but any suggestions with regards to age, type of glass, possible maker etc would be gratefully recieved.
Thanks all
