This is a 12" German Doll. It has a bisque head and arms. What I would like to know is, is this common? Are the clothes original? What year was this doll made? What does the 18/0 mean? Thank you.

The 18/0 refers to size so right size body would go on her . All companies used used different numbers for size so 18 does not mean inches
Many companies that did not use mold numbers or logo's are hard to identify . She is a common dolly face shoulder head bisque doll , She appears to be on a kid leather body with cloth lower legs but I can't see it so I have to make a educated guess . Her dress appears old but what is under it it ? She should have several layers of slips and pantaloons that would help age clothes if I could see them . She would have had a human hair wig or mohair and is missing the pate the cap the cover the hole on top of head which is there so doll makers could place eyes in head . Maker unknown as she has no distinct features to lead her to any specific doll maker and there were many ! Dates late 1800's early 1900's .
