Rare wooden Indian carved bust

This bust was found 10yrs ago in Alabama in a spring. Arrowheads we're found with it. To me it looks like a mother and a baby. It was not cracked when it came out of the water. We have tried to get information on it but is all we get told is it's Indian. I think it's made from Cypress but again not sure. It's unique and I like it.
