These six highly prized "Sunoco Gasoline" ink blotters are from 1939 - 1941.
They measure 3 1/2 x 6 inches, and one that's 7 x 4 inches. Of the six, two are stamped "The Lexington Inn," Line Lexington, PA. These ink blotters were used to absorb excess ink when writing with fountain pens.

Hi, buckethead. Thanks for the heads-up. I did add it to the category on your advise. Talk about dating ourselves...most people don't even know what a "fountain pen" is! Ha!
