Good morning everyone,
I've been collecting trains of all scales all my life since receiving my first Lionel train set from my uncle when I was just a boy. It was a treat to find this 1970 Hot Wheels sizzler High Tail Hauler Hot Line Train set. It is the first and most basic set it didn't even come with the juice charging machine. You can set it up 2 ways there is a you tube video I will add that just shows the train operating on a circular track. I also have some other pieces that can be added to start the train from a spur and join up to the main circular track. The overall condition is good it doesn't appear to have been played with much. There is no box which has great graphics and is on my search list. On the side the decal says Hot Line and on the bottom of the engine it says Hot Line, Speed Chief, 1970 Mattel. The 4th photo shows a sizzler car from another set and the red plastic piece joins the straight track together. One day I hope to set it up for my grandson and I to give it a go.

Pretty cool train set. Thanks for the link to see it go. I had the Sizzler Indy Eagles back in the early 70's...whish I had them now :)
Good Luck on setting up one for your grandson someday!
Buckethead it will be good to build a permanent layout for my larger scale trains and put the sizzler train set close by with my grandson. Maybe you will find the Indy Eagle set one day in your travels!!
buckethead, royoroy thanking you for sharing the loves.
