Pretty vintage vermeil czech garnet bracelet I bought some time ago at the flea market. I paid 30 EUR, which is a better price than what they would ask somewhere in the shop, so still a bargain.
It is marked with G and 9, which means the jewelry maker should be the company "Granát Turnov" from Czech republic, which is famous for this type of jewelry. "9" would be probably their plant number. Also, this means that this bracelet is not older than 1953 - but I would say not very new. Also, I would say there was probably once the mark for silver as well, but that mark is barely visible now, due to usage.
Very elegant, I should wear it more that I actually do. I have a matching ring as well.
P.S. I found a similar bracelet here (they say its from 1920s in the text, so maybe someone recycled an older style when they made my bracelet):

P.P.S. When I check the prices now... they ask roughly 250-260 EURs for such bracelets in online czech antique shops - even if they are wider than mine, I still made a good bargain. Horrible, what they ask nowadays.
Oh, Lentilka :-D
That is a nice buy... and bargain! The decor on the clasp has a Deco feeling.
Thank you, Kyra and Ms.CrystalShip!
I originally thought its deco, as well. But that company started to exist in the 1953. So either this is a mark that an another company used as well, or they used an older look in their design. Maybe i will find more info on this with time.
This is lovely Lentilka :-)
Thank you TassieDevil for your love!!
What a beautiful bracelet! Very elegant, and a great price for it too!
Glad you like it, Quantumphysica!
