I bought this bottle in a local antique mall a couple of months ago. It has some damage, but it was priced "right". Embossing reads; "RETURN THIS BOTTLE TO E.G. BRUCE AND GET 5 CENTS". I know it contained Citrate Of Magnesia and is probably circa 1890s to 1905, but what I don't know is where was E.G. BRUCE located. I have done some research, but haven't been able to find him. Does anyone know what city/state Bruce was located in???? The newspaper ad is from 1890 and talks about some uses for citrate of magnesia.
