Here's another 'goodie' that never made it to the auction hayracks. ;-)

This DIETZ lantern is complete with its original branded clear glass globe. It stands about 15" tall and is about 8" wide at the base. I don't really have any idea how old it is, maybe from the 1960's? (if anybody *does* know how to date these lanterns, please chime in!) :-) :-) :-)

Cool lantern. I just know to watch out for the made in China ones. Those are clearly marked. Should say made in USA on it somewhere. All the USA lanterns are considered vintage.

THANKS to Caperkid, officialfuel, buckethead, SEAN68, and Virginia.vintage for stopping by with your loves!! fortapache, this lantern is indeed clearly marked DIETZ N.Y. U.S.A. on top of its fuel tank and also on the glass globe. Thanks for your comment!! :-)
