Classic custom hippie era pants! Early 70s Vietnam War Era Ubon AFB Thailand Vet's custom made "Easy Rider" inspired bellbottoms worn while on his motorcycle. I purchased from the original owner in New York state. His wife described them like this:
"These were custom made for my husband when he was in South East Asia in the 1970s. The label is for Men's Wear with a street address that is unclear but the city is Ubon, Thailand.
The pants are blue corduroy with applied red stripes and applied white stars. One pant leg is rolled up to show the construction inside. There is a row of white stars down the sides and white stars are on the back pockets. It is a button fly. The tab under the buttons is ripped an inch or so.
My husband wore these when he rode his motorcycle so there is a spot of grease on one pant leg and that may be why one of the stars is a bit on the tan side. They are heavy and warm but also cool, as in 1970s cool.
The belt loops are intricate. There are 4 strands of sewn corduroy for each loop - 2 red and 2 blue. I can barely imagine how much work these were to make."
Hilarious!
Never been stoned enough to wear those !
