This is 10X9 1/4 padded/folded fabric picture from Japan with a variety of materials in a very nice old frame, with a bottom that provides a stand=up display, under glass, in very nice condition. See wood back --Photo #2

Oh, this is beautiful, too! It is less intricate that the one I posted, but it looks like the same process used. Do you know if these have a special name, a Japanese name?
The actual name has the word "fold" in it-- it looks padded but is mostly a fold process. Just try, Japanese "folded fabric picture". They are in an Arts and Crafts category, Japanese or Asian. Yours is more detailed, I think mine is somewhat earlier, and with a really great frame. Both are fun to own
