Came across this old beauty today. Appears to be a Child's Chair. I do not know if it was for a doll or not. I kind of don't think so. Just because of the detail that they put in this, The carved spindles do not match 100% so I think they were by hand and not a machine??? Guessing. It measures around 34" high. Even where the arm go into the legs they made plugs??? any help or direction to where I can solve this mystery would be Grateful. Thanks for looking !!!

The arms give it an American Empire look.

Appears to be 19th century. The cane seat looks to be hand woven-- does it have small holes just inside the seat rail? It will cost a pretty penny to get it redone (IF you can find someone who still does it).
