Vaseline Glass Canister

Just acquired this Vaseline Glass Canister and I need your help...I have no idea who made it.
It looks like it might be newer, but it's very heavy, thick glass and it is SUPER reactive to UV light, which makes me think my initial assessment was wrong.
I'm very curious about its origin and google hasn't gotten me much yet, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
