Found this set of green glasses at a yard sale. Looking for any info on these. Set of 8, excellent condition. No chips, scratches or cracks on any. Also didn't see any makers marks. Possibly Depression Glass? any info would be appreciated! Thanks!

I just had a set of 7 glasses, (missing one) and a pitcher and sold it for 25. To the right person it's worth more. But to answer your question it is fostoria glass.

This pattern was orignally made by Adams and Company, introduced in 1890, and called X.L.C.R. (Excelsior). It was continued when Adams became a part of the United States Glass Company. Many companies made this pattern, but Fostoria was not one of them. Tiffin (one of the last of the factories to exist that was once part of the US Glass Co) reproduced much of this pattern starting in the 1940s. They called it Dubonnet for a short time, then began using the name "King's Crown", which is what most collectors know it as today. Indiana Glass Company and L.E. Smith made much of this pattern in the 1950s and after. Your goblets are obviously later made due to the color. The original issue of X.L.C.R. was clear glass and decorated clear glass (much of it was ruby stained). The thumbprints on later made pieces are more oval rather than round. Tiffin goblets are supposed to have 3 mould seams and more flaring rims.

I bought eight of these goblets and eight glasses in the amber color in 1970. I don't remember how much I payed.
