In photo 3, up the left side--back of postcard it says "(K) SEMI-PHOTO-"-I have never read that before on any card back--but one or two of our CW members did mention that a few cards I had on were superimposed photos on chosen backgrounds--Now I know for sure--this was done--This card is 1908. mailed.
Photo# 1 is the entire front.
Photo# 2...s a close up(BUT ENLARGE IT) where for the first time I saw there was another woman here being pushed in a wheelbarrow !! A lot of fun is had by the girls posing for the picture--and funnier yet is the cop on a horse directing them across traffic! I suppose HE is part of the photo that the girls were superimposed onto! Early trick photography process!
I love it!
OH! Goody! Someone clicked in and looked!! and who was that? VETRAIO50--Thanks Much. I appreciate it.
Before they printed it, they edited her face to make her pupils and teeth be visible (likely because this looks like a half-tone, which loses details) but they made the lady pushing.... have the creepiest face! Demon eyes!
OMG--you are right! Ha Ha. Thanks for calling attention to that' I did think she had really nice teeth--that thought crossed my mind and shehas s "goo=goo" zombie eyes. I am glad they edited those eyes and teeth. It really makes the card more interesting. Thanks. Lois
All these stopped by and clicked "love"! Thanks!
