I am in search of the origin and age of this lamp. I have searched online but I am unable to find anything similar. Also, the signature looks like either Jim Besch or Jim Desch, maybe Bosch? Does anyone recognize this artist? I believe it is cast iron - maybe 25 to 30 pounds. It is about 5 feet tall and came with a pink fringed shade. Seems Victorian. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, its intriguing. I have to say though that the signature looks recent by the patination etc. By recent it doesnt mean yesterday necessarily but it does shine a little. Eitherway fanastic lamp. It has a touch of Maitland Smith lamps about it.

I hope its not a owners name mark. Beautiful lamp, highly unusual !
