While you might not be able to tell that this is a Gasoline sign you can certainly tell it's a 50s vintage sign. Vickers was a popular MidWest gas Brand until it got bought out by one of the bigger fish in the area. We had to go to Lubbock Texas to get this one. We think it looks great in the Lakeside Storage collection. I think this sign makes 105 we have on poles at Lakeside Storage. It’s now one of 221 pole signs in the Collection and always growing.
Akrodog,

After 3 days a whole 8 people Love this sign? I'd think 8000 min!!!
Not sure if anyone is aware of this but, Haysville, KS has the first Vickers Gas Station ever built and it is still standing today despite having been hit by an F4 tornado on May 3, 1999. Would love to get my hands on one of these signs for the building.
RCorby,
