I was given the vessel by a collector about 45 years ago. I was told it was used to ship dye to Real Silk Co. (Indianapolis) for women’s hosiery. During WWII the company made parachutes for the war effort. Is it a collectable? I wish to auction it off at a fundraiser for our local women’s shelter.
