This one a "HOLD FAST" brand, made by "ANIMAL TRAP CO LITIZ PA, U.S.A.". It is still in pretty clean original condition despite rusty metal parts, not having otherwise been 'refinished'.
I don't know where it came from, but have to guess that Mom found it hanging around the farm someplace -- definitely a likely place to discover such a thing. It could easily be 30+yrs old, I'd bet?
