    This amber glass bottle would have had a stopper similar to the other bottle I posted (the neck is ground down on the inside) but is possibly a bit older.

    There are mold seams visible on the body and vaguely on the neck, though not on the rim, which is also the slightest bit uneven. There are no markings on the bottom, although there is something of a circular indentation in it. There are bubbles of various size in the glass.

    Based on these characteristics, I'd date this bottle first half of the 20th century. I think it may have been used for medicine or chemicals of sorts, but I'm not sure.

      That the seams stop before the top and do not form a obvious ring below the rim tells me it's likely hand-tooled, meaning it was blown into a mould by human lungs, and the mouth was formed with a tool held by human hands. In America that usually means it's pre-1920. Globally, who can say at this point. Everyone advanced differently.
