DAYTONA BOTTLING WORKS Siphon Seltzer & and Crown Top bottle. These are circa 1900 to 1910. The siphon bottle has the older "pedestal" style base, plus I really like the alligator picture. The crown top is pre machine. There is at least one more variant of the crown top bottle which I don't have. The newspaper ad is from 1901.

Well I have seen all kinds of animals on soda bottles (all kinds of birds, bears, elk, a gnu, a whale etc.) This is the first picture of an alligator that I have seen.
      It's great! Thanks for sharing!

I won't disagree. By 1910, American glass-makers had to start marking contents amount (ounces, drams, or gallons) on bottles like the right-one as they were to be sold to unknowing public that wish not to be ripped off. Siphons didn't have to have contents amount marked.
