    Hello everyone. This is my dainty little teapot. Not sure, but wondering if it is a Japanese teapot decorated in Kutani (?). I am hoping that someone here may be able to shed more light on the teapot and its markings. Thank you for stopping by to see my little teapot.

      I actually just purchased a cup today with the exact same color scheme and lower band decoration. It's possible they're a set. I'm trying to find more information on it myself.

      The red signature is the Fuku mark, labeling the piece by location, maker, or type.
      The left bottom character is ? enclosed by a han ? country/border/territory radical to create ?. See possible meanings here: https://jisho.org/search/%E5%9C%92

      The right characters read vertically read ?? "Kutani."

      All together, left to right, the characters read "[something]-en Ku-tani."
      There's two concrete possibilities found in this blog here, though because of the style, I am unsure if it is either of them: http://litaxulingkelley.blogspot.com/p/japanese-porcelain-marks.html
      Perhaps you could ask the blog poster for help identifying the first character?

      The calligraphy on both seem to be S?sho (sloppy /cursive script). Your script however is delineated by dots, unlike mine, similarly to this tea pot...

      ...making me wonder if your tea pot contains Noh lyrics (from Noh utaibon/"music books") where "dots [...] to the right of each letter indicates pitch or duration," though this is an educated guess.
