Chasing signs across the lower 48 doesn't leave much time for traditional physical therapy so I figured that getting up on the truck and tying down the load every few hundred miles would have to be my creative way of doing "physical therapy". We just returned from a long trip back to Iowa as we picked up some porcelain signs along the way. We arrived home with 18 new (old) big signs for the Lakeside Storage Museum and the new Event Center soon to be built across the street. I confess that long drives are hard on old crippled Pickers!
Yes! Those are my crutches leaning up against the tailgate of the truck. How else would you expect me to get back to the place where I had to climb up? Think "therapy".
Happy motoring! Interesting post!!
PostCardCollector,
My wife has been encouraging me to change hobbies and collect something smaller, like stamps or Post Cards. I tell her I'm too old to change.
So what did you think a truck load of signs would look like if not like this?
