CAVANAUGH hat box

I don't have a fedora to put in it, but this cool old hatbox should hold winter gloves and scarves nicely too, I suppose...?? :-)

From CAVANAUGH HATS of New York, it measures about 13" x 15" x 7". Made of shiny black cardboard with gold trimmed edges, The CAVANAUGH HATS name appears on either end and their crest appears on its top and bottom. Guessing its from the 1960's.
