Another find in another storage. Really old, dirty cloth doll. Unknown of the maker or who it belong to. But it looks like a collectibles doll

An Amish doll? I am not sure, it has a faded face...but then again wouldn't know if that was originally there.

They make a lot of things to sell in shops in PA and Ohio I think, Quilts. baskets, buckets. chairs, aprons, preserves and country crafts.Handmade. Is your doll, handmade? She looks like she may be dressed in Amish style. Someone here can help you better than I.

I am not sure. It was in a storage I bought. There's no information or marks on the doll. But Thank you hopefully someone here knows.

Hi your doll appears homemade and was made to look old . A decorative doll and made by a person who makes primative crafts . They use tea for instance to get clothes to yellow . Of coarse it is done in a prairie style but not Amish , It has a face and also incorrect dress . It is a contemporary doll from what I can see by photo's . These look nice in a display grouping in right house decor .

The other possibility it was made by a child and may have some age to it . It really needs to be help and what is it stuffed with ?

Hi Manikin, thank you for that awesome info. I do not know if it's tea or not but it's so dirty I want to put it in the washer. But want to know if it has some type of value. I made a little opening by removing some thread in the side and the doll has more cloth inside. The same material the doll is made, but the color is Navy blue.

If you put her in washing machine you will rin her , Cloth dolls are very difficult to wash and will dry with discolored lines all over face for one
Here is on similar when I said made to look old. This is signed and was made in 1980's
