I purchased this item second hand. I'm trying to determine the origin, age and type of basket/bowl. Any information is greatly appreciated!
This item is woven, has a pedestal base and measures approximately 16"across the top, pedestal measures 8" approximately, and it is approximately 3" deep.
It's a contemporary African basket, from the Harar region of eastern Ethiopia.
