I have little information on this mug. I believe it to W. German by a company called Sitzendorfer. The maker mark is a crown over S but was too light to get a picture. Any thoughts?

Only my research on the faintly impressed maker mark. Which as stated is a crown over S, the S is embelished somewhat. It seems consistent with comparable post '50's Sitzendorfer marks. Otherwise there are no other marks.
you can identify your stein on http://www.steinmarks.co.uk takes a lot of searchinng their data but worth it .
Indeed this resource is fantastic, it's the site I use to identify the aformentioned maker mark.
