I got this with some other leather work tools but cannot find out what it is for. It may be nothing to do with leather. I found lots of solid rollers but none made of discs. The roller part is 1 inch diameter and 2.25 inches long. The discs have washers between them and can all rotate individually. The handle is cheaply made and I suspect it's a hobby tool rather than for a craftsman. Any ideas what it's for?

This tool is used for laying down fiberglass cloth or mat into the liquid resin when working with fiberglass.

Hello slackjack. Many thanks for your note. I think you are probably correct but I have not been able to find any fibreglass rollers with discs. They seem to be mainly solid rollers with lengthways ribs to push to air bubbles out. Kind regards from England.
