I know that the Coat of Arms is for the 169th Regiment for the US Army and I was told that this was from World War II. However, this one has a different color X and the enamel is different colors from what I have seen before. Most I have found have a blue X and a white background.

The top is a coat of arms with a crown and two greyhounds? I have not been able to read the insignia. I would like to figure out what it is and what it means as it does not seem to be related to the US Army.

    Could it be sweetheart jewelry?

Likely a sweetheart pin. The colors differ from the original because it's not made for military use.
