Cloth patch, 4 1/2+" in diameter, unit unidentified
Belonged to my uncle, Sgt. Richard M. Richey, US Army, clerk typist assigned in 1945 to the Edgewater Hotel, an R&R facility on the beach in Santa Monica, California. The "relaxed" plane on the patch makes me think it is related to R&R. He had previously been assigned to Tinker Army Airfield, Oklahoma. Prior to that he had served at the glider training center in Waco, Texas and Ellington Field, Texas.

As requested, photo of reverse of patch added 10/2/2017
