This interesting pitcher has a Bisque feel on the outside but glazed or china inside. It has a marking which I am unfamiliar with and would appreciate any info. It measures a 10" high to top of handle x 8" across from handle to spout.
It has a lozenge registration mark. If you look it up it should tell you the age, etc, but I think 19th century. It looks similar portmeirion reproduction jugs, but I think yours is old, but I must admit I can't quite read the base from your pic!
Actually, I did find out what I wanted to know. I was able to get the info I needed.
It is dated September 1844. The name Charles Meigh and than googled it for more info. Thank you.
