    Fleamarket…
    (81 items)

Admitting I do not know much about old Photos. A Google search had very mixed results. Any clues to wether this is a post mortem photo or if the flash just hit her wrong. A year and any information will be appreciated.

The poor photo makes it impossible to really see your image--t0o faded. i doubt anyone will be able to tell you anything. Excpet I can say photo about 1900.

They both look totally alive and fine to me.

Your photograph is an 1880s- 90s cabinet card. You may be able to narrow the date based on the photographer and searching for when they were in business.

Both of the subjects are very much alive-- open eyes are the biggest indicators. Don't believe the internet garbage about standing pm images. I have collected images for 20+ years and don't recall seeing a standing pm in all that time.

Thanks for the comments and helping me with a year. Reading about old Photos had me a bit confused. I'm glad she's alive here! Out of the lot Unfortunately Some are faded and moldy. Not by my doing but I still think they are neat regardless.

It make sense that it would be 1880 because I have the same girl but older in the other photo;)

It is usually fairly easy to bracket date antique images-- certain photographic formats and styles within those formats have definitive years of use. Of course clothing, backdrops and other objects shown in the image itself can also be useful.

Please keep sharing-- I am a fan of antique photographs!
