New flea market find! Two beautiful L and F Moreau lamps. I believe these may have been a pair but I am not sure. The lampshade pictured is the ones the lady sold me as belonging to the lamps. Are they the original shades? Also about what year/era would these have been made? They are metal lamps

Somewhere in the 1950's they were reproducing these again and painted with few colours including all white. They were done well with beautiful detail and your examples show that. They were very much like the "exemplaires" the Hirsch Foundry in NYC was producing after they went to France directly after the war in 46 and following years and dug up the hidden moulds under the old foundry floors, hidden during war time. The Hirsh Foundry also produced many dark patinated versions, all were made with spelter metal, zinc and tin mix. There is a probability and good possibility they were made by Hirsh. IS THERE a foundry stamp also ??
