My father passed away a few months ago, and as we were cleaning his house, we came across a box of Dr. Franz Stoedtner glass lantern slides from his time in WWII. I've been trying to find someone who can tell me if they are worth anything. There are 29 slides in a slotted box, and are in mint condition. They appear to be numbered, and the pictures are of places including Germany and the US. I've tried reaching out to local appraisers but have not had any luck so far. Just curious if anyone knows what they may be worth.

Sadly the glass slides don't go for very much maybe a few dollars each. Perhaps a set in the original box might do a little better. It is possible individual slides could do better depending on the specific photo. You have to remember these were reproduced on a large scale for many years.
