I recently purchased this cap from a very reputable collector and I was thrilled as these are extremely hard to come by. This is a Waffen SS officer cap. The cap is original except for the insignia which had been removed and i replaced them with a set of reproduction ones, hopefully someday I can find an original set. It is made by Erel and has the original RZM tag attached in the lining. I even have the back story on it and will post it soon. This is now one of my most prized pieces in my collection along with my Kriegsmarine officer cap and Allgemeine SS NCO cap.
An extremely nice SS Officer's Cap. I love the overall look of the cap, such a nice example. Hopefully you will find some original insignia to put on the cap eventually. A lovely visor cap, I can see why this is one of your top pieces, it's in such good condition and looks great. Thank you for sharing.

These were really bad guys representing a terrible govt, but had beautifully designed uniforms and hats! Very nice find!
