A rather eccentrically shaped vase with the "Tadpole Pulls" decor in black on orange. This vase stands just under 6 1/4 " (15.6 cm) tall. It has a small, 2" (5.2 cm) diameter foot that quickly balloons and flares to an eventual 3 5/8" (9.3 cm) throat. The underside has a two-line acid-stamped mark that makes me at least assume this is also a Welz produced piece.
Great piece. Love the shape!!
I would strongly suspect this to be by Welz also, but in light of the fact that I do not use the mark as definitive proof of attribution, I would want to see another Welz decor on this shape before committing completely to this being Welz production.
