my unusual lava ashtray

This 20cm diameter 8cm deep Lava ashtray has no makers name probably because the base is black and white Rough Lava and was unable to be marked. I bought it from an op/shop about 20 years ago. I have a lot of unusual pieces including West German Lava/pottery and the reason I buy these things is they just "catch my eye" as that something special.
