We obtained this beautiful piece today at a estate sale, just curious if anyone could tell me any information about it ? What's it made from, the year, or anything at all... I've been told it could be burled walnut or maple, or veneer wood. I can't find any marlins or writing on this thing st all... thanks for the help in advance !

Beuatiful! Veneered walnut burl indeed. Probably mahogany veneer in between the large walnut squares. The frame around the front of the drawers looks like oak. Hard to tell more without seeing the inside, hinges joints etc.

Unsure about the veneered inside of the folding table top. Perhaps cherry wood...

I think they're called Bachelor's chest. Used in small bachelor pads (that probably din't have any table) as a multi-purpose furniture. My gut feeling is 1890-1910. That's just a guess without seeing the details.

There's no markings on it anywhere, I've been searching. Does this mean anything ? Or could it have just fallen off ?

Maybe it was never there. It's not so common with markings on furniture of this age, is my impression at least. From the 1920-30's and on you would more likely find some markings though.
