Early English lattice chair with birds claw

This chair has a twin. It was given to my parents, for their wedding present, in London, in 1962, as antiques. My brother and i are trying to figure out what they are. The arms have feathers carved into the ends. The front feet are bird claws. The back has double wooden lattice work. The cushions were replaced but the rest is all original.
