So I know from the research I have done that this is a Silver King machine. My concern is the Top and globe. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Should it have the acorn globe and smaller top. Or did they make some like this?
No, they did not make them like this. The globe has been replaced with the globe of, possibly, a Victor.
This is a Regal Mfg "Cylinder" machine made in the 40's (similar to the Silver King and a direct competitor). The machines came in both the round globe like you have and a pear-shaped globe too (again, just like the Silver King as the pear shaped globes were the same size and swap-able between Regal & Silver King ). It is 100% correct, with the exception of the "decal"/sticker. The correct Regal decal is "shield shaped" with red, white & yellow colors and the denomination (1c or 5c) on it in black.
