I have had a break for work and other interests!
Autumn has dimmed the light in the UK so this is under electric light. Probably not detrimental (photography aside - this could improve).
This is a Welz décor and shape inverted on a pedestal - or rocket - foot.
It has a very tight quilted mould-blown pattern.
I am sure I have its upright twin somewhere!
This is 23.5cm tall.
The inverted version is most commonly seen in a translucent cranberry.
I like this very much.....glad it found its way to you :)
I echo Peggy's sentiments - love that texture, good size to, well done Ian!
Thanks, all.
I echo what others have said. The texture, shape and colours, a Lovely piece
Nice find, I have it in a blue honeycomb type- Many of the Welz pieces have the mold towards the bottom of the piece- yours has it throughout so rare and nice
P.s. also the feet are oddly quad not tri...
