    It's a Japanese Awaji Pear shaped vase with a raised ring around it that's 15" tall and is really heavy.It reminds me of stoneware do to its weight and the way it feels but it's not.The finish looks like crackled glass not pottery and is lime green with some yellow.I know it was made before 1955 because that's when the original owner purchased it while they were in Japan and it wasn't new then.I believe it's true age is somewhere between 1900 and the 1930's.

      Adding a picture of the base with markings might help narrow down the production date. Nice vase!
