Close ups of my latest butterfly collection. Everything is labelled although the scientific names are not used.
The small ones in the upper right corner labelled "moths?" are skippers. Skippers are those little wedge shaped butterflies often seen flitting about in gardens.
Also of note is that some are labeled as male or female especially the Monarchs and Swallow Tails.
I had the lid open for these photos and had to keep the hidden cat away with one hand and take the photos with the other.
