    Help! I bought this at a thrift store for $1.25 because I had no idea what it was and I like to drive myself crazy. Now after hours of thinking and google searches I am here begging for help. Please someone tell me what this is?

      PS: The one shown in the link i provided you with, is an old antique from the 1930's. Yours is a recent version, probably made in china, along with most everything else these days. Still a good workable tool that could be used for other applications, imo.

      I saw that image before. This doesn't work as a crusher. The spikes are so sharp that they just stick in the ice. Also it doesn't close all the way so no crushing is done. It must be intended for some other use.

      Thank you so much for the knowledge! This style must not have been made for long. It is a bad design. I am a bartender and have been trying to use it properly but it just won't do the job. Thanks for your time.
