C 250 Thomas Edison diamond disc official laboratory model, C 1915.
This is the oak cabinet C250 Chippendale, there is also a C19 which is the same machine as the C250 just renumbered in April 1919. These phonographs play the thick Diamond discs using a diamond stylus, no need to change needles.

Hi,That is beautiful!I just bought one identical to it.Although I need to replace the cloth and clean it up but it has been well taken care of.I purchased mine from a collector here in Toledo Ohio for a hundred and fifty dollars as he is a friend as well. I was wondering is this Phonograph valuable or just beautiful and priceless to us.I'm new at collecting Victrolas.I am 34 yo and love to restore antique TVs and Radios.I was just wondering did I get a decent deal or is that about right.Everything is perfect on it and He gave me ten Disks too. They are pretty funny Old Black sam and uncle Josh he's on you tube as well.I do love yours it's a very nice piece and I hope after cleaning mine up it will only look as good. Thanks for sharing.Your friend Tyson

Hi Tyson, You got a very good bargain, mine cost me AU$1800.00 and it came with no records. They are a bit more expensive here in Australia, mine is in excellent original condition. I would love to have Uncle Josh and Old black Sam on Diamond disc, I have Uncle josh on blue Amberol cylinder, not Diamond disc. Regards Marcel
