The top is a Calif. Ostrich Farm Ride. I have heard that Ostriches can get very, very cranky.Beware! This was taken in Los Angeles, at Lincoln Park--and probably 1920s
Bottom photo is part of a parade, and looks like they are pulling away from in front of a church I'll have to enlage it to see what the banner says in front grill of the decorated car...Or maybe someone can with a better view. there is a real old car behind them--

To those who, like me, wish they could travel today just like the people in the postcards of long ago, I say" thanks" to taking a look at what we are missing!
