two "similar" old stainless serving spoons w/red bakelite handles

These two cool old serving spoons both came from the thrift store on different occasions, I've had the shallow ladle for awhile, but just snagged the slotted spoon today. :-) They are both incredibly similar in numerous ways, but are in fact made by different companies. Both are about a foot long overall, and I think the handles are made of bakelite.

The ladle is stamped "A&J STAINLESS STEEL MADE IN U.S.A." with a diamond-shaped logo in the middle of its bowl, and its slightly darker red handle has a rounded edge profile. It additionally has "STAINLESS STEEL" embossed in a small flat spot near the middle of the metal portion of its handle.

The slotted spoon is stamped "CORONA QUALITY STAINLESS STEEL" with a crown-shaped logo between its handle rivets, and also "MADE IN U.S.A." around its handle ferrule. Its lighter colored red handle is very similarly shaped, but has a beveled edge profile.

I'm thinking both of them are probably about the same age, maybe 1950's or a little earlier. Either way they're both very nicely made utensils, and I'm glad they're both now in my kitchen, even if likely mostly just 'for show'...? :-)
